About Us
This site exists because some games feel strange in ways that are hard to explain, and most places don’t really talk about that part.
Not broken or bad games, but really just games that feel off… Games that make you adjust how you play, rethink your habits, or sit there wondering why something feels uncomfortable even though it technically works fine.
That’s what we write about here.
We’re interested in games that ignore comfort, skip clear explanations, or quietly mess with expectations. Sometimes that comes from weird systems. Sometimes it may come from pacing. Or sometimes it’s just the way a game refuses to meet you halfway. We focus less on whether a game is “good” and more on how it feels to exist inside of it from one perspective or another.
This isn’t a review site, and there are no scores, rankings, or attempt to convince anyone to buy anything. We write from the perspective of people who’ve played these games, sat with them, and thought about why they stuck around long after closing them.
Most of the games covered here aren’t for everyone, and that’s cool. Some are frustrating. If a game made you stop and think, “Why does this feel so weird to play,” it probably belongs here.
Right now the site is small and that’s intentional. We’d rather publish a few thoughtful pieces about strange games than chase volume for the sake of it. Over time this will grow into a collection of games that left an impression, whether we enjoyed every minute or not.
If you like games that don’t explain themselves, don’t rush you, and don’t always care if you’re having a good time, you’ll probably feel at home here.
